US President Donald Trump has told senators during a conversation that if the Democrats come into power, ‘it will be a very bad situation.’
As Trump said, the mayoral election was democratic but far from good for the Republicans.
Democratic candidate Zahran Mamdani has become the first Muslim mayor during the mayoral election in the US city of New York history. The victory of 34 year old Zahran Mamdani is being described as a setback for Republican President Donald Trump, who is considering this as the most important election since the beginning of his second term.
President Trump responsible the Democrats for the government shutdown and described it as one of the main reasons for the defeat in the mayoral election in the United States.
He said the shutdown, which began on October 1, is the longest in American history. He also claimed that ‘conservative Democrat’ members in the Senate have shown zero interest in ending the government shutdown.
“We are facing the longest shutdown ever,” Trump also said “we are now going to pass legislation that has never been done before.”
