Schedule announced for annual Matric and Intermediate exams 2026 in Punjab
Annual examinations for Matric (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC) are announced by Punjab. The annual Matric examinations will commence on 3 March 2026, while the annual Board examinations for Intermediate will start on 5 May 2026.
According to the news agency, the Education Department has made changes in the admission policy for the new session, approved an updated school calendar and also made modifications in the curriculum.
The new academic year will start on 1 April 2026. In government schools the free textbooks distribution will begin from 5 April 2026.
